Mumuni Sanani Ali

IT & Media Assistant

Mumuni Sanani Ali is a Computer Engineer and Senior Software Engineer with over six years of experience designing and delivering production-grade systems across fintech, telemedicine, and e-commerce. Before joining WACAAD, Ali served as IT Manager for the fintech department at BSystems Limited, where he led the security and reliability of high-volume payment infrastructure, achieving ISO 27001 and PCI DSS compliance without production incidents and earlier built the backend systems behind payroll platforms handling thousands of daily transactions. As a freelance systems architect, he has led the design of scalable platforms including digital payments apps; a real-time telemedicine scheduling platform; and distributed point-of-sale and inventory systems, applying disciplined architecture to keep complex systems reliable as they grow.

At WACAAD, Ali brings that same discipline to a different kind of infrastructure. The digital tools, platforms, and media that carry the organisation’s work to the communities it serves. He co-develops and maintains WACAAD’s online platforms, manages its media content and documentation, and strengthens the technical backbone behind its stakeholder engagement, bringing the same rigor to information management that he’s applied to production financial and healthcare systems.

He sees technology as a lever for African agribusiness and entrepreneurship not as an add-on to development work, but part of how knowledge reaches the people who need it, and how institutions like WACAAD scale what they do. His engineering background means WACAAD’s digital presence is built not just to look right, but to hold up as the organisation grows.

He holds a BSc in Computer Engineering from Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology.
