Dr. Fortune Selorm Agbele

Dr. Fortune Selorm Agbele is a political scientist and international development professional with over a decade of experience across Africa and Europe. Dr. Agbele leads Gender and Women Empowerment at WACAAD. Her expertise spans democratic governance, gender equality, women’s political leadership, and peace and security. She holds a PhD in Political Science from the University of Bayreuth, Germany.

She has consulted for international organisations, including GIZ, European Union Delegation to Ghana, and DAAD, contributing to initiatives in governance, gender equality, peace and security, and elections.

In addition to her development and research work, she is the founder of Fortune Coffee, an entrepreneurial venture that reflects her interest in agribusiness innovation, business development, and sustainable enterprise. Dr. Agbele combines rigorous research expertise with practical development and business experience.
